I am a proponent of physical education. I feel the need of any physical education worth studying should be an increase in physicality as well as technicality. Brazilian jiu-jitsu has been my subject of study for 11 years. The study of Jiu-Jitsu has allowed me the technical ability to defend myself against those who are physically superior.
But something unintended happened along the way, the longer I studied Jiu-Jitsu, the more I became technically and physically superior than the past version of myself. I got stronger, and better than ME -year after year. It’s for this reason I choose to now teach and share Jiu Jitsu.
I’ve also realized that to teach Jiu-Jitsu, is a matter of sharing in the most efficient way possible.
I feel the job of a teacher is to provide an organized framework in which students can easily participate and progress in. As much as you will a beautiful Martial Art here, you will also experience an educational system designed for you to absorb in a palatable way.
