Adult GRACIE JIU-JITSU (15 & OVER)

Whether you are interested in self defence or fitness, our beginner program for adults is for YOU!

In this program, you will learn the 36 core techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu in a fun, safe, and cooperative environment. Each 90-minute lesson addresses one standing and one ground self-defence technique, which are further broken down into simplified drills or โ€œslicesโ€ to facilitate the learning process. You can start the program at any time and participate in any class without previous experience and, since safety is our number one concern, there is no competitive sparring in this program.

The main focus of this program is to put a priority on real world scenarios over sport situations.

Classes will focus on:

  • Natural Movement, where we refine instinctive reflexes through basic movement patterns to increase reliability in a self defence scenario.

  • Technical Learning/Training, where you will obtain knowledge in a variety of positions and techniques to help you deal with an attacker.

  • You will also learn how to mange your energy effectively by using timing and leverage instead of power.
